the blackhawks wont repeat as stanley cup champs... sorry dave and mikeytoo...
puck daddy blog over at yahoo! sports/nhl says that washington will win it all.... bwah! as if!
the hockey news says its going to be vancouver... actly thats a really good choice...
the kings will make the playoffs again this year, but alas, again no cup...
pittsburgh will make the cup finals... GO PENS!!
the ducks are weak on d, especially with the departure of scott niedermayer and last seasons trade of chris pronger to the flyers...
they will however, make some moves at the deadline and might just make the playoffs.. tony lydman needs to get healthy...
the maple leafs will suck again this year... sorry mads, but they are the chicago cubs of the nhl..
all due respect to ryan miller, buffalo will prolly miss the post-season....
can someone please teach ilya kovalchuk how to back-check... get used to playing the neutral-zone trap dude.... fail..

if craig anderson is as good this year as last, and foote stays healthy, colorado will be a huge thorn in the side of the canucks and the kings all season long...

the penguins are better on defense than i thought after letting gonchar go... good off-season moves bringing in zbynek michalek and paul martin.... marc-andre fleury needs to have a better season... look for pittsburgh to make a move at the all-star break or trade deadline to finally find a winger sydney crosby can actly play with...

look for the same-oh same -oh from phx, atl, min, clb, fla, tb, car (cough.. hartford.. cough..) az, cgy, edm, nyi, dal..
blame it on the salary-cap.... or blame it on bettman....
mostly the same teams that were competitive last season will be this season as well...
ive learned to never count the red wings out of anything...
after bostons melt-down last season in the semi-finals, they have a lot to prove.. too bad they dont have the team to prove it with... btw, tyler seguin, not taylor hall, will win the calder trophy...
